Update
August 2, 2007! We have a winner!
Terry
D. from Wisconsin will be enjoying the
2007 Napa Valley Wine Country Adventure.
Many
thanks to the hundreds of you that participated in this
worthy adventure and we do hope you will participate
in the 2008 drawing !
We
will update this site soon with information about our efforts
to support Iraqi War veterans suffering from post-traumatic-stress
syndrome through the Pathways Home project.
Your generous support is going to make a big difference for these deserving people!
Here's your chance to realize that dream and to assist the
Napa Noon Rotary Club with its philanthropic work at the
same time. We'll provide everything needed to make your
4-day 3-night trip for two a
memorable
experience. You decide when you want to come, we'll provide
suggestions and then tell us which activities appeal to
you the most. We'll take care of the rest. We know the Napa
Valley because our 113 members all live here, and we can
arrange for you to visit off-the-beaten-path wineries and
vineyards. Like to play golf? You'll be staying at the famous
Silverado
Country Club, where two spectacular Robert Trent Jones,
Jr. -designed 18-hole courses are at your fingertips and where you'll have easy access
to upvalley wineries. If you're not into golf, how about
a hot-air balloon ride for a bird's eye view of the valley
floor and the surrounding hills? Or simply spend your time
visiting the scores of wineries within an easy drive. We'll
arrange for dining at some of the Valley's finest restaurants,
and the food in the Napa Valley is second to none.
Uncertain
of the best time to plan your trip? Each season offers its
own charms and wonders and our climate is great. Whenever
you choose to arrive, you'll be met at the San Francisco
airport with a limousine that will transport you over the
Golden Gate Bridge and directly to Silverado Country Club,
where a glass of Napa Valley wine will await you in your
room.
Looking
for a memorable gift for a friend? Buy a ticket for him/her,
and we'll send a card on your behalf with the ticket and
relevant information enclosed. Or we'll return the tickets
to you for you to pass along.
Even
if you're not the lucky winner, you can rest assured that
your donation will be put to good use by our Club - predominantly
within the Napa Valley. Keep reading for a summary of some
of the projects supported by the Napa Noon Rotary Club.
Don't
hesitate! Only 1,500 tickets will be sold. The drawing will
be held on August 1st with great fanfare at our Club meeting,
and the name of the winner will be shown on this website.
The name could be yours!
